Congratulations to all of our outstanding club members and friends that placed in the top five of their respective age groups in either Triathlon, Duathlon or Aquabike.  Kirsten and Jerianne picked up the awards (USAT SMW luggage tags that say TOP FIVE AGE GROUP) and plaques for Regional Championship Duathlon winners – Kirsten is the female winner and Travis Newton is the male winner.  Kirsten and Jerianne took some of the brag tags for those of you they see regularly and I have some of the rest of them.  I will bring them to MIO packet pickup and the race for you to claim.

2012 Tri-OKC Duathlon Series

The Du Series is back! All of our On-Road Duathlons are again eligible for points in the series.  You must complete a minimum of 2 events to qualify for awards.  Your 2 best scores will go toward your final points.  The series is open to anyone.  Membership in Tri-OKC is not a requirement to qualify for awards, but it will get you nice discounts on all Tri-OKC races!  The qualifying events are: March in Okarche, Draper On-Road, Fall Classic Sprint, & Fall Classic F1.  The Fall Classic F1 will be worth an extra 5 points, being the state championship! Train hard, race smart Tri-OKCers!
