TexasMan Triathlon

Postby Beau » Mon Apr 18, 2011 6:02 pm

I've spoken with Dan, the RD for TexasMan, & he is willing to allow members of the club to do a raceday packet pickup at the event. The race is May 15th at Lake Ray Roberts (about 20 minutes NE of Denton).

Please let me know by replying to this message if you plan to attend & pickup your packet on raceday. I would like to give Dan & the TexasMan crew a heads up of how many people that will be :o

I'll be notifying the TexasMan RD that we will have upto 15 or so club members using race day packet pickup. Unfortunately, I will no longer be joining everyone & competing. I broke my toe at last night's Tri-OKC meeting in a bout with dumb-luck. Everyone have a safe race.

TexasMan: I need your first & last name for race day pic

Postby Beau » Thu Apr 28, 2011 11:40 pm

The TexasMan group would like us to provide member names for race day packet pickup, that way they can bookmark the packets ahead of time.

Currently, I have:

J.A. Pryse
Larry Norris
Tyler Wellhausen
Todd M. (need last name)
Lee Walther
Boz Anderson
tdjme (need 1st & last name)
Anyone else, please leave your first and last name on this thread by Friday, May 6th.

Thanks!

Beau, will we still be able to do raceday packet pickup since you aren't going? Just don't want to show up and have them not know what's going on.

Also, I'm thinking about heading down that way around noon on Saturday. If there is anyone that will be heading down around that time and wants to carpool let me know. I wouldn't mind splitting the gas with someone. I've already made hotel arrangements though.

Todd, got you taken care of.

Tim, thanks for heads up.

Boz, you guys can still pickup on race day, they have no problem with it. Dan in the Race Director & Vicki is his packet pickup coordinator. They're both in the loop.

Last year, race day packet pickup was at the Marines tent, just to the left of the entrance into transition. My understanding is, the setup will be the same as last year. Good luck to everyone!
