Who gets married during a Marathon?

Postby Joel » Mon Apr 25, 2011 5:12 pm

Amy and I do!!!! This Sunday Amy and I are getting married during the OKCMM. We would love for our TRIOKC friends to join us in any or all of our festivities. The beautiful bride and her brides maids along with me and my best man will be in full wedding-running attire and assembled at the start near the 5:00 pace group. About mile 6 we are going to pull over and have a brief wedding ceremony. If you see us, please stop and have a toast or give us a congratulatory shout. At the finish line we hope everyone will throw some confetti at us. So if you are hanging out at the finish line cheer us in as Mr. and Mrs. Joel and Amy Rogalsky!

Wow! Totally awesome! Best wishes, unfortunately Emily gets confirmed that morning too so after I run the first leg of the relay I'm off to church (well after a shower  )

SOOOO excited for you, two!
I'm doing the early start so I should be at the finish line when you get done. I'll be looking for you two out there!!!

Awesome idea! Beats the heck out of spending 5 grand (or more) on a big ceremony. Maybe a triathlon for a honeymoon? :D
