Are any of the races full?

Wife is currently saying no way to a day in the car with a screaming kid.

It should be a flat fast course and it will be great to see a few TRI OKC kits out on the course.

Based on some of our recent workouts together, I do not think I am ready to go head to head with you guys. Anyway, I am heading to Tennessee earlier that week to celebrate my mom and step-dad's 25th anniversary so I am out. Hopefully I can get on the bike and do a little climbing in the Smokies while I am there though.
That reminds me Justin, it looks like you are missing one person from your list of people who make you go faster...

I opted out for financial and fitness reasons (lack of both). I had planned on doing it, but just can't this year.

I am planning on doing the oly. The half is a little pricey IMO.

Congrats on your parents 25th anniversary and I know you will be ready when the season kicks into full swing.

On my last trip to Gatlingburg/Pigeon Forge I was thinking about the pain of making that climb through the smokies but the descent into Cherokee, N.C. would be fun. Oh and I thought OU fans were fanatical but every local vehicle was flying the orange checkered flag.

Good deal, Jack and Ben that makes 6 making the trip down. I'll keep my eyes open for the team colors.

And check out Ben getting double points for the team racing on both days.

See you guys down south,

We had planned on going, then got a chance to go to VA Beach mid-March to see my mom (and run a marathon while there), so we're out. See, that's why I don't plan races too far in advance (ok- well except for Redman- that was planned 8 months in advance). Too many things change.

Have fun down there, guys. Hopefully someone spectating will take lots of pictures of the Tri-OKC gang.
