Double Play Duathlon...March 18th...Arlington, TX.

Hi Folks,
I regret to inform you all that as of today we have only 37 entrants
for this event. While we have NOT cancelled it as of yet, if we do not
see a dramatic increase in registrations by Feb 28, we will cancel the
event. You may ask why? This event is around Ameriquest Field in
Arlington and the Police costs alone will be over $2000.00. At this point
we cannot as a business and we are a business, justify that single
expense for such a low turn out. We have not even considered medical
support, t-shirts and other amenities. Duathletes, if you want the sport to continue, there needs to be a more
demonstrated effort to support these events or they will go away. It's not my
intention to shame you into doing this event, that's your choice but it
is my perogative as a business to cancel any event that I deem is not
financially sustainable and unfortunately this event is looking like
that. For those of you who have signed up, if the event is cancelled your
entries can be transferred to any Ironhead event in 2007. Hopefully
this will not be necessary. We look forward to putting on this event and
hope you will support us.

Jack runs 1st class events, unfortunately, date conflicts arise. Priority #1 with TRI-OKC will be March in Okarche Duathlon.
